Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd (HMSI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Company Limited, Japan. Honda made its fourth business venture in 1999 when it formed HMSI after Kinetic Honda, Hero Honda and Honda Siel Cars India Limited. It obtained its 14001 ISO certification in 2002 and is headquartered in Gurgaon.
 
Honda established its factory in Manesar in 2001 it marked remarkable entry in the Indian market with the launch of its gearless scooter – Honda Activa. The new model was an instant hit in the Indian market which was so far clearly dominated by Kinetic Honda. Thereafter, it launched Honda Dio which was an upgraded and more upbeat model in the market. It entered the scooter market with Honda Eterno which was known for its reliability and smooth ride. HMSI launched its first bike in the Indian market with its model Honda Unicorn and later it introduced Honda Shine.
 
Honda Active is still the leading model in its segment which is known for its good pick up, reliability and user-friendly features. It is available with option of self-start as well as kick start. On the other hand, Honda Dio is lesser known but is an attractive moto-scooter. Honda has introduced its latest model Honda Aviato, to expand its product portfolio in the gearless scooter market. The company has recently upgraded the model with more user-friendly features. It also comes with disc brake option and alloy wheels. ETerno is known for its rock solid engine and superb fuel efficiency. It is quite popular in certain markets of the overall Indian two-wheeler market.
 
Honda also has its 125cc CBF Stunner in the motorcycle segment which is known for its styling, powerful engine and tubeless tyres. It is opted by those looking for good mileage with great performance and looks in the 125cc segment.

hello sir...i am searchin for a honda city 2nd hand 2000 model,but evrytime i have come across the dealers they show me 2nd or a 3rd party car,so plz tell me is it advisable 2 buy the same
 
i m plannin 2 buy a pre owned honda city n also wan 2 get it converted in 2 gas fuel...so is CNG better or LPG 4 a honda city,coz my runnin wud b atleast 50km per day...n also how bout indigo diesel...wats tha milage of tha car n is it a good choice 2 go for.
