On CarTradeIndia.com dealers and individuals can buy and sell cars and bikes for free.
To search for vehicles, click on the search button in the left menu. For cars, click “search cars”, for bikes “search bikes”, etc. When the search menu appears, click the criteria that you want to filter for (such as city, make, model) and click ‘start search’. The results will appear and you can view each vehicle in more detail. There you can also contact the seller of the vehicle to close the deal.
And remember, we charge no fees, not for the seller and not for the buyer!
To search a vehicle, you can also use the quick search menu on the front page. It works in the same way as the detailed search menus.
To sell a vehicle, use the sell option on the top of the screen. Then, enter the vehicle details and your contact details to list your vehicle.
Important: We recommend that you add images to your listings. Also, entering as much information as possible about your vehicle increases chances of sale significantly.
To delete or edit your advertised vehicle, log in to your account with your username and password. You will enter your control panel and see three options:
- Manage my profile: use this to change your address, phone number etc.
- Advertise new vehicle: use this option to advertise other vehicles
- Modify existing vehicles: use this option to see an overview of active classifieds. For each vehicle advertised you can choose to edit, delete or refresh it. Refreshing your vehicle can be done after 14 days.
If you forgot your password, the log in screen shows the ‘forgot password’ option. This will email your password to your email id.

Can’t find your car or bike today? Use the wanted function to activate a CarTradeAlert or BikeTradeAlert to get an email when the vehicle you are looking for is listed by someone.
If you cannot decide between a number of listed vehicles, use the compare option to compare them side by side. Just click on “add to compare list” in each vehicle to add them to your compare list. To finally see them side by side, click on ‘go to compare list’ or ‘compare cars’ in the main menu and then see all the vehicles below each other.
