Yamaha is all set to become the leader in bike segment in India. It has created a special website for its latest creation – Yamaha FZ16. It has decided to rechristen its FZ15 prior its launch and renamed it as Yamaha FZ16. It shall launch its new bike in the competitive 150cc segment.
"In this country’s motorcycle history a new chapter begins. A masterpiece is born. While inheriting the quality of the famous brand, the FZ16 was also born to revolutionize the era and carry out a mission. Its appearance more than any other, overflows with dynamism and originality. This quality solely belongs to YAMAHA’s advanced technologies. The FZ16 takes attention away from others on the road as it makes its personality felt. Lord of the Streets -FZ16- You will be drawn to this machine that in the next era will become the king of the streets," says the excerpt from the website for the new model.
It shall launch its new model in September with its new style and macho look. It has 153cc four stroke, air cooled, single cylinder engine that drives a power of 15PS @ 8400 RPM. It has 5 spoke 17" die cast alloys wheels and 100/60-R17, 140-60-R17 tyres.

looks are the best if compared with karizma or pulsar 200 even better than r15. bike is very smooth with killer looks. iam IMPRESSED except the front number plate positioning and horn given by the company

the mileage may increase after 1st servicing by 4-5 kmpl .the torque is enormous ,u can feel the power between the legs .it reaches 110 kmph easily after that speed increases slowly .i havent yet tried the max speed .the horn given by the company is a bit depressing .susupension is beautiful ,suspension is th most immpressive part. and u wont find much differnce between single and double persons riding as other bikes become sluggish if it comes to double person riding . the bike is intelligently designed

i already bought fz16( black) .the bike is awesome,this is the most handsome and muscular bike on the road and dont compare this with other bikes because it completely different.easy wheelies and stoppies.the bike is very much balanced .even at the speed of 90 apply disc brakes ,surly the bike would stop with out harming u. rite now its mileage is 40 kmpl. .pulsar is dead guyssssss

through my point of view at this range of 75000 in mumbai this 150cc beast will definitely work it out in the market i loved its features and very importantly the huge tyres which is i think for the first time in the history of indian bikes

This Yamaha FZ16 bike is a Marvelous bike according to me and i'm dam sure that its gonna hit the indian roads and now the trend is for pulsor and when these bikes are getting into the market then i'm sure that every one would go for this bike and the pulsor would be the next and not only the pulsor all other indian bikes will be next to it.

Want details - well this bike is gonna be weighing just around 125kg. With 14ps of power and 15nm of torque at around 7500rpm. Price is going to be at 65k bracket. Tyres at front is 100 section radial while at rear it will wear India's widest 140 section rubber. A muscle hoot - you bet. Add the style and performance into a single package and you will have a winner in your hand.
