Pictures of new Alto have been released by Suzuki that would make its debut at the Paris Auto Show which would be held between 02-19 October 2008. The new car has been developed on the A-star concept that was developed in collaboration with Suzuki's Indian subsidiary, Maruti Suzuki. The global version shall go on sales in Europe from December 2008.
Maruti Suzuki shall manufacture two versions of this car at its Manesar plant in India. The global version for the car shall be sourced from Japan itself while the Indian model would be a low cost version. However, both the cars shall have the latest Euro-5 compliant 1.0L aluminium petrol engine with CO2 emissions less than 109 g/km.
The current Indian version of Alto has an 800cc engine which is known to be one of the most fuel efficient cars. Maruti Alto is one of the most successful models from Maruti where the company has already sold more than one million units since its debut in 2000.

I want to know the price of new alto car india version car. And also that I heard that current alto model will be phased out by december. Will i be able to exchange my current alto while i purcase a new alto next year?

WOW i heard of it b4,let me tell u about this its a concept car " way of life" its mileage is 22 kmpl price would range upto 390,000 onwards............. by 2009 it expected to roll out to overseas. well india has to wait.

This is the complete copy of hyundai i10, i think this is not about the suzuki, copy & make like funda....Hyundai have to drop the case file in court for coping the model io in agaist of suzuki's New alto(Copy of I10)...........
