New Hyundai Elantra Coming in 2011

Hyundai has launched official images and videos of 2011 Elantra coming to the international market. The model has been launched in Korea and will be soon available in other global markets. The model is also available as Hyundai Avante in various international markets. The new Elantra sees the use of the company's new "fluidic sculpture" design language. From its streamlined, almost tear-drop profile to its sculpted and space-age front end, the new Elantra picks up where the Sonata left off, but with an edgier overall presence that fits its younger target demographic. Side profiles of the Sonata and Elantra reveal a similar rising beltline and character line that flows into the taillights. On the Elantra, however, there is a stylish C-pillar kink, and the character line actually begins at the flared front wheel arches.

The interiors have been refreshed as well where Hyundai has fitted "advanced features not found on other compacts." The new designed dashboard sports tunneled speedometer and tachometer, while standard equipment includes heated rear seats, ambient lighting and a color TFT LCD information display. Other highlights include Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS), HID headlamps and LED lamps. The model is priced at Rs. 7.56 lakh in overseas markets.

Before relaunching the Elantra 2011 Hyundai India should look at how to fix the braking problem in the existing Elantra models. Their service partners in Bangalore (both Advaith and Trident) are absolutely clueless on how to fix the soft braking pedal issue which does not stop the car until you remove your leg off the pedal and repump the brake. Even after changing all items like Brake Master Cylinder and ABS Pump etc they have given up. It is a shame that even the factory engineers could not help to fix it. HMIL should lower its head in shame.

This is one vehicle designed quite well inside out from Hyundai, after a while I mus say. While competition will some comparions with other models but if priced well I am sure this one will be a winner.
