Delhi Auto Expo – The Canadian Pavilion


Canada participated at the Delhi Auto Expo for the first time in 2008. The country excels in its hybrid technology and alternative fuel cells where it intends to make its presence felt in the Indian market as well. This year the Canadian Pavilion will be at Hall #07 comprising more than 10 companies representing the auto component manufacturers, service providers from Canada.

The Canadian companies will also offer various products useful for the automotive industry booming in India. The CV Tech Group from Canada excels in design, development, engineering, manufacturing and sales of Continuously Variable Transmission Systems which are important for auto manufacturers.

There will be auto companies that are designers or builders of automated production systems for vehicle assembly, powertrain assembly & material handling, Tooling, Fixtures & Plastic injection tools, Special dies, tools & die sets, Jigs & fixtures, Molds & cutting tools, Electric & gas welding and soldering equipment

The Canadian companies “are aiming to also offer services like new software development for B2B sector here", said Mr Gurbans Sobri, Trade Commissioner, Consulate General of Canada.
